What Shall We Do Next?

The May Phoebe meeting was different than usual. We did not have a hands-on enrichment session, but members spent a lot of time coming up with ideas for one in the future.
Bonnie handed out a pattern for a hanging paper doll to make for the June challenge, and the challenge is to alter it. In the past few meetings we have been making dolls using playing cards, creating items that that reflect light or are shiny, making a flying carpet, and at this meeting were challenged to make "A Treasure from Trash."

Calendar
The June 13th Phoebe meeting will be at Marcella's.
The drop-in social and lunch will be from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.  Please bring your own lunch or maybe something to share.
Show and Tell
Phoebes did bring many completed items from recent challenges and enrichments to the meeting, so there are a lot of show and tell items this month.
Anne brought a shelf filled with her wonderful ceramic heads,
and displayed this cute ceramic doll.
Bonnie suggested we make these items that she created using her embossing machine on decorated paper to make folders, quilted paper tags, and embellishments,
and also collages of paper, knitted or crocheted yarn, rubber stamps, and other items, as shown on these four pictures.

Another Bonnie happy surprise was this large sized painted card!
Yes, more playing card dolls were completed!
as was Caroline's flat mermaid doll.
Ellaine loves making and decorating books, (like many other Phoebes).

We can never get enough of Geri's beautiful greeting cards.

Once again, thank you, Geri!
And we always love to see Sally's creative paintings.
Sue is a master of creating photos and graphics using Adobe software. Here are several photos of her accordion book that illustrates her work,
,
This is a photo of her seashell collection she made for a previous challenge.
Suzanne R responded to the reflection challenge and displayed the framed glass photo of her and her parents. It brings back happy memories.
This is an item Shawn discovered in one of her searches for interesting items.  While this already looks like a treasure, I am sure she will think of a way to make something even more fantastic for the "From Trash to Treasure" challenge.
Here is a sample of making art using a shoe box,
or using what looks like a textured background with an added shoe graphic.
I am sure everyone will come up with a special way to take items from around the house to make something even more amazing and treasured.
